Breaking QuoteMetadata typing plus changed fee/amount semantics (undefined vs former 0/null) can affect quote sorting, displayed fees, and any consumer that assumed always-present metadata.

Overview
Breaking: QuoteMetadata and nested fee fields are now optional (DeepPartial) instead of always populated; derived quote math no longer fills missing inputs with 0 or null where it previously did—those values are often undefined now (e.g. relayer fee without trade.value, zero/missing gas limits).

TokenAmountValues / QuoteMetadata move out of types.ts into new utils/quote-metadata, with calcQuoteMetadata centralizing metadata assembly and mergeQuoteMetadata attaching metadata to quote responses. Bridge selectors call those helpers instead of inlining fee/return calculations; sorting uses optional chaining on cost?.valueInCurrency.

mergeQuoteMetadata is exported from @metamask/bridge-controller; bridge-status-controller builds test/fixture quotes via merge and reads metadata with optional access. Tests/mocks fix native slip44 IDs (e.g. 60 for ETH) and add coverage for quotes without assetId.

Missing trade gas crashes fee

High Severity

When tradeGasLimit is missing or zero, calcTotalGasFee leaves totalGasLimitInDec undefined, then optional chaining on times yields undefined and the following .plus(l1GasFeesInDecGWei) runs on undefined, which throws. Approval-only gas and L1 fees are also skipped instead of being summed like before.
